I have tried tea tree oil for acne and it did work well, although you only need to use a very small amount or you will be smelling it for days! (it smells very strong). I just recently read an article that claimed lavender can be used as a fast way to get rid of pimples too, but I've never tried it.

I keep telling myself to get some lavender bath for my boy so he'd settle down quicker around bedtime. He fights to the finish!
