5 Simple Ways To Practice Self-Love


To boost your self-esteem and feel great, self-love is an essential practice. The term may mean different things to different people, but overall it’s about honoring your own happiness and well-being. If you need some ideas for practicing self-love, here are a few tips.

1 . Give Yourself A Challenge

One of the greatest ways to honour your body and mind is to give yourself a new challenge. When we learn new things we can find new passions, gain self-confidence, create memories and experience joy.

The challenge you give yourself is up to you. Perhaps you’d like to try a new hobby like SUP yoga or salsa dancing? Maybe you’d like to challenge yourself to perform at an open mic night if that’s your kinda thing? Whether it’s learning a language or joining a hiking group, challenge yourself to discover a new part of yourself.

  1. Positive Affirmations 

Positive affirmations can turn your day around, (especially if you’re feeling a little down). These are simply positive statements, designed to stop your negative thoughts in their tracks. Positivity is the key to self-love, and there are many affirmations that you can use for self-love specifically. Write them down, say them in the mirror, shout them out in the street, (whatever you prefer)! Here are some self-love affirmations from Through The Phases:

  1. Give Yourself A Glow Up
