I am in my 15th week and I can’t really think of much to update on. I just want enough text to wrap around this photo, so I will just write :-). At this point, I am fresh out of the 1st trimester yuckies and I’m feeling great. I have my next prenatal appointment next Tuesday. Maybe, I’ll remember to pick up my ultrasound prints. #preggobrain
When things get a little stiff and tired, I waddle. It’s just easier to get around that way. I know I probably look ridiculous considering I’m not beastly big, but whatevz.
I’ve commited to wearing lots of dresses (for as long as I can tolerate). I’m a jeans girl, but the bump looks super cute and feels more comfortable in dresses… plus they make searching for an outfit so much easier. I have so many dresses with the tags still on them that are ready to be worn. I also picked up FIVE new dresses at JCP for $10-$12 each! When I see a sale rack, I have to clean.it.out! I got every dang dress on that rack that I could find in my size, lol!
I don’t know what my deal is, but this all feels so unreal. Yea, my belly and boobs are noticeably growing and looking nice, might I add, but I don’t know… I just feel all sorts of normal. Maybe because I’ve done this before? Or maybe because I’m in denial again. I usually go through denial when something happens to me ever so perfectly. Tiny Human #2 was planned to a T with success. Who knows. I need to stop questioning my good fortune and just roll with it… after we finally buy a home in the south. Now THAT seems like it’s forever and a day away. Anyway. Maybe once I start feeling the baby kicking, it’ll feel real.
I’m already in nesting mode trying to get the house organized because I DO NOT want to be running around here in the Fall trying to tie up loose ends. Our bedroom is a disaster and Jayden has the best room in the house… and I’m still working on it. So since we won’t have a nursery (we don’t have a need for one), the least we can do is fix up our bedroom for baby… that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it. But really, it’s time our bedroom look like mature adults sleep in there because it’s a flamin’ hot mess. Right now, I have a pillow case with jungle animals over my pillow.
I am realizing that I won’t be able to do a lot of things this summer… like riding rides. So no theme/water park, carnival, horseback riding for me. Guess I’ll have a seat on the sideline \__. What do pregnant women do in the summer? Walk and swim? *scratches head* Guess I better reaquaint myself with the Wii and Kinect, lol.
I totally didn’t expect this post to get so long, but I’m due for a good ramble, right? I’m going to try to keep up with these pregnancy updates. I started slacking off with Jayden’s. They honestly got boring (entry #7845384: I’m still pregnant), lol, and I was consumed in the new product review/giveaway phenomenon. This time around, I vow to make a better effort to document this special time.
Oh, here’s Week 12.
Thank you to all of you who have congratulated us via the blog, Twitter, and Facebook. We are truly happy to have so many people who are genuinely happy for us. You guys don’t even know how many fits I’ve thrown wanting to finally be READY for baby #2. And well, we are about as ready as we gon’ get… and that’s ok.

Hmm... What DO pregnant women do in the summer?? My son was born in November so I remember just being very large, hot, sweaty & miserable. And that' s about it. Thanks for sharing Tiny Human #2!!! :-)

First trimester is so hard. The bad thing about it--the momma to be feels like crap on a stick, but there is nothing to show for it, right? Cause you're still flat tummied. So you kind of have to suck it up. :(
I'm so glad you're into the fun times. Second trimester was my favorite. I looked the cutest, felt the best, and food was AWESOME.
Can't wait to hear more!
