At 34 weeks pregnant, I’ve unfortunately been sick with some sort of stomach bug for an entire week and I am just now able to eat again. In the midst of it all, I’ve been working with a friend to create a delicious and light smoothie recipe that I am happy to share now that I’ve mustered up the strength to roll out of bed before fatigue starts knocking.
This recipe features Silk Vanilla Cashew Milk. I prefer to use dairy-free milks in my smoothies so I was excited to try this new milk in our Key Lime Smoothies. This summer-inspired smoothie recipe is a delicious and light breakfast boost, perfect for my delicate, pregnant tummy.
- 1 cup of Silk Vanilla Cashew Milk
- 1 frozen banana
- Juice of 2 key limes
- Zest of 1 key lime
- 2 Tbsp of raw honey (more if you like it sweeter)
- Blend all ingredients in your favorite blender until smooth. Sprinkle a bit of shredded coconut on top for garnish.
- Enjoy!
Mmm mmm! I can just smell the fresh key limes through the screen! Can you? I hope you enjoyed this Dairy-Free Key Lime Smoothie recipe. If you decide to try it, feel free to leave a comment or tag me on INSTAGRAM or FACEBOOK!

This sounds so amazing. I wish I had some cashew milk on hand. I might have to substitute soy milk.
