Miniature Candied Apples
  • 5 large apples
  • 1 (11oz) bag of caramels
  • Assorted sprinkles
  • Lollipop Sticks
  • Melon baller
  1. Peel each apple if you prefer. Using a melon baller, carve as many circles as you can out of each of the apples. Pat the apples dry and insert lollipop sticks, roundest side of the apple up. Set aside on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the caramel over low heat, stirring until completely melted. Let the melted caramel cool down a bit. Pour sprinkles into dipping bowls.
  3. Once the caramel has thickened a bit, begin dipping the apples, slowly rotating the stick to evenly coat each apple. Dip and rotate each caramel apple in a bowl of sprinkle immediately after. Return apples to baking sheet and place in freezer to let the caramel and sprinkles set.
If you have any extra caramel left over, feel free to carve additional apples for more dipping fun!
