Family Weigh Days Are Back With An Upgrade!

The end of last year was utter crap if I can have a moment to be honest. And here we are two months into the new year still fanning the smoke away. When it rains, it pours… leaving little time and energy to focus on self-care and good health.

The start of a new year always opens up the doors to lifestyle changes and improvement. I’m never quick to immediately set goals because it’s during the spring when I become inspired. This year, I’m just trying to keep us all healthy. When I think back to some of the routines we once had, I think to myself “what happened?” Like Weigh Day for instance. Weigh Day was more of hubby’s thing where we’d all hop onto the scale every two weeks or so and he’d record our weights in a spreadsheet to make sure we all maintained healthy weights. Not dropping weight was always of high importance for the kids especially since growth is always expected.

Eventually I stopped getting on the scale because I didn’t want to be reminded of the weight that I finally gained, then lost. Life happened, things got chaotic and our routine fizzled out… because too much work.

Enter the Nokia Body+ smart scale. When offered the chance to incorporate this new scale by Nokia (yes Nokia), I thought “Do we really need a new scale? But wait, it can track up to 8 people and send the information to my phone via WiFi?”

And just like that family Weigh Days are back with an upgrade! The Nokia Body+ is more than a scale, it’s a body analyzer that logs weight, bone mass, water, muscle mass, and fat mass. It even displays the weather and allows for goal setting. Whether you’re striving for weight loss or GAINS, you can set them up using the Health Mate mobile app. Listen, Body+ even has a Baby Mode where you can step on the scale with baby and it’ll be able to recognize the weight difference.

I love how the Health Mate app doesn’t shy away from talking about intentional weight gain. One of the things that I’ve struggled with is weight gain so I was impressed that Nokia kept gaining in mind. Gaining isn’t as far out of reach as it was for me say 6 years ago. I was able to gain a significant amount of weight last year, so I can surely do it again this year. It’s going to take certain changes that will allow me to put priority on proper nutrition, meal prep, and my self-care.

I’m so excited about this new effortless way of weight tracking for our family of 5, but also I look forward to getting back to my desired weight as part of my self-care. Check out Nokia’s health products and Body+ for yourself!

This looks like such a great product! I love how it connects to an app, so you can really keep track of progress and such.

Wow what technological advances we have at our disposal. I'm going to need to check out the Nokia wifi scale cause I love how we can track it via our mobiles.
