Octonauts: The Best Toys Ever According to Jayden

disclosure

“These are the best toys ever!”, Jayden exclaimed as I opened boxes of Octonauts toys sent for us to review.

The Octonauts are an eclectic crew of eight adorable animals who explore the ocean in search of adventure and fun! From their undersea “Octopod” base, the eight talented critters (including a valiant polar bear, daredevil kitten, and big-hearted penguin) are always ready to embark on new exciting missions.

Prior to our review, we were unfamiliar with the Disney Junior show, but the story line sounded like all sorts of exciting. Plus, I’m a sucker for kawaii. I couldn’t resist the Japanese inspired toys.

Just in time for Jayden’s 5th birthday, we received the following ADORABLE toys:

· Gup-B Mission Vehicle & Kwazii – $14.99
· Gup-D Mission Vehicle & Barnacles – 14.99
· Rescue Assortment Barnacles & Tunip – $9.99
· Kwazii & the Slime Eel – $9.99
· Octo-Compass – $12.99

All of the toys excluding the Octo-Compass are water-safe, so they make awesome bath toys. Jayden has yet to take them out of the tub. The squirters in the Barnacles & Tunip and Kwazii & the Slime Eel sets change colors in warm water. The vehicles are able to roll across surfaces and float in water. They also having some fun squirting features.

The Octonauts toys are absolutely perfect for imaginative play. Bathtime is filled with swishes, crashes, and lots of splashes! Jayden can’t get enough of them and now, I can’t seem to get him out of the tub! How can I forget the Octo-Compass? It is also a favorite. He and Jaxon both enjoy pressing the button areas and hearing fun phrases from the show.

They look fabulous, especially for water play. I'll have to check them out. Does J like the show? My boys haven't seen it yet.
