For Halloween, I wanted to create a grungy look to match my Sorceress costume. I got to playing in my nail polish and the photo above is what I ended up with. I loved the result, so I thought I’d share how I did it!
You need one bottle of silver, black, and silver crackle polish.
First, paint your nails silver. Use as many coats as it takes to get full coverage. Two did it for me.
Once the silver dries, paint about 1/3 of your nails black. It doesn’t have to be neat. This is a grunge look. It can be messy, there’s even room for dings and chips. No one will even notice.
Once the black coat dries, go over the black with the silver crackle polish, blending it into your coat of silver polish. Clean up the edges and voila! Like it? Try it and share your nails with me by tagging my social media channels and hashtag #iriemade!
