Happy Hour: Cranberry & Pomegranate Daiquiri

With the holidays upon us and parties already in session, I thought I’d share a delicious drink to serve at your next gathering. During this time of the year, it’s aaaall about cranberries. I, for one, can’t resist cranberry flavored beverages. Pomegranate is another one of my favorites. Pair the two fruits together and you have yourself quite a tasty drink to enjoy during all the fun holiday festivities.

Ingredients:

3 ounces white rum
2 ounces Ocean Spray Sparkling Cranberry Beverage
2 ounces POM
2 ounces agave nectar
fresh mint spring
fresh cranberries
1 pomegranate
ice cubes

Directions:

Slice pomegranate in half and remove fruit, set aside.

Thread several fresh cranberries on a long red toothpick to use as a garnish.

In a blender add white rum, Ocean Spray Sparkling Cranberry Beverage, POM, agave nectar and ice cubes. Pulse until ice is crushed.

Add pomegranate fruit and stir.

Pour into a daiquiri glass and drizzle with one tablespoon of agave nectar.

Garnish with a fresh sprig of mint, pomegranate and toothpick with cranberries.

Serve.
