It’s about that time to start shopping for the holidays. I’ve been gathering gift ideas for family members including the Cuatro Canine Crew, because furry friends need love too! I enjoy thinking of creative ways to treat the pups since it’s something you don’t that often. I find gift ideas for dogs so incredibly cute. They always give me the giggles.
Today, I want to share a quick and simple way to share some holiday cheer with your favorite pooches. All you need is a canister, your dogs’ favorite treats, some ribbon, and a bow. Easy right?
Materials
Milk-Bone, Pup-Peroni, and Milo’s Kitchen dog treats
BHG Square Flip-Tite Storage Container
Ribbon & Curly Bow
Instructions
At Walmart, I grabbed a box of Milk-Bone medium-sized biscuits, oven roasted chicken Pup-Peroni, and Milo’s Kitchen Chicken Jerky. I was surprised to find the Milo’s Kitchen treats since they usually sell out at my local store. Must be some good stuff! I mean, if I were a dainty little poodle princess, I’d eat them. Jerky’s my jam.
I started filling the canister with the Milk-Bone biscuits. I layered a few at the bottom and slipped some of the Milo’s Kitchen and Pup-Peroni treats around the perimeter of the canister. I then, put a few of the Milk-Bone treats in between to make a unique pattern. In the middle of the canister is where I placed the remaining Pup-Peroni and Milo’s Kitchen treats, then I filled the gaps in with the Milk-Bone treats.
I completed this project by attaching some grosgrain holiday ribbon and a curly bow for a classy and festive look. I hope you’ve enjoyed this simple DIY gifting idea for your furry friends.
