Fall is almost here and for some reason, I feel like the new season is an opportunity for a fresh start. Maybe it’s the particular stage in life that I’m in right now, needing a complete do over, but I am welcoming fall with open arms. One of my goals is to be a total domestic goddess. Now that Jayden is in school full time, I can’t be caught slipping and I’ve already slipped, tripped, crashed, and fell… repeatedly.
I’m trying to get back up after bruising up my poor domesticated ego. What usually helps put some pep in my step are new cleaning products. I had the opportunity to re-up on Mrs. Meyer products (curtsy of Glam). I was introduced to Mrs. Meyer cleaning products last September and I fell in love with them. Each scent is so indescribably fresh which I find wafting through our home long after I’ve cleaned with them. Not only are Mrs. Meyer products gentle and fragrant, but they actually work. I use the toilet cleaner to scrub my toilets and the tub cleaner to polish my tub. The results are amazing.
I love the countertop surface spray for small jobs. I leave it out on the kitchen counter top and use it as I’m cooking. I may spitz some in the air just because I love the smell. The all purpose cleaner is also awesome. It’s concentrated, so you can dilute 1/4 cup with a gallon of water. It lasts a long time. I still have some left from last year. For disinfecting purposes, I like to add a few drops of tea tree oil for extra measure.
Seriously, if you haven’t tried Mrs. Meyer’s, you must. Available in 6 different scents (Lavender, Geranium, Lemon Verbena, Basil, Honeysuckle, and Radish), there’s something for everyone!
Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day® believes in a better way to get a good clean. Chock full of plant-derived ingredients and essential oils, our household cleaning products are powerful against dirt and grime. Our garden fresh scents uplift your mood while adding a little spring to you step.
