A Thorough Clean With Oral-B Deep Sweep

in Thrive

Since I am terrified of the dentist and refuse to make an appointment (but terrified of losing my teeth), I made a commitment to spend more time focusing on my oral health. I recently bought the little mirror, plaque picks/scrapers and everything. Eventually, I am going to need to have some work done though, but until I become courageous enough to schedule an appointment, I’m going to do my own thing, lol.

I was offered the opportunity to try the Oral-B Deep Sweep rechargeable toothbrush endorsed by celebrity dentist, Dr. Levine. I was ecstatic to say the least because I had been using a lil’ dinky soft bristled toothbrush that wasn’t quite getting the job done. I have the hardest time brushing my top wisdom teeth. No matter how much I scrub, they just don’t feel clean. With the Deep Sweep, I was able to accomplish that.

The Deep Sweep features a triple cleaning technology which includes:

– Dynamic side-to-side bristles to sweep away plaque
– A moving power tip to penetrate hard-to-reach areas
– Stationary bristles that polish tooth surfaces

The Deep Sweep, compared to my other toothbrush is a behemoth. It is said to remove up to 100% more plaque versus a regular manual toothbrush. Whenever I use the Deep Sweep, I feel like my teeth are thoroughly cleaned of build up and residual food particles by its vigorous sweeping. This is something I could not achieve with a standard toothbrush. I still have a habit of brushing too hard, but the gum care pressure sensor kicks in whenever I make that mistake. The Deep Sweep is compatible with 8 different brush heads offered by Oral-B for the ultimate cleaning experience.

The Oral-B Deep Sweep can be found at Walmart and a $15 Mail-in-rebate is available on Walmart.com.

i’ll have to look into this one! i just went to the dentist recently…it’s never fun. i have to warn you about those wisdom teeth though. apparently dentists these days aren’t too fond of patients keeping them whether they’re causing you issues or not. i had all four of mine pulled a couple years ago.

Wow, I thought it was the other way around. It makes sense though. They can potentially cause so many problems. If they start to rot, it can spread to the other teeth if not caught in time. Looks like I’ll be having all of mine out. I only have 3. One of my bottom’s never grew in.
