Quick & Healthy Snacks To Pack For School Lunch

Quick & Healthy Snacks To Pack For School Lunch #FindYourHealthy

This post is sponsored by CVS Pharmacy #FindYourHealthy. Thanks for supporting our site partners!

School is in full swing and we’ve been going through snacks like crazy. Between packing for lunch and midday snack time, Jayden has gotten pretty serious about his snacks. He loves trying new foods and is always excited to dive into my latest blog shipments. On one particular day when he was four years old, we had gotten a new box of snacks to which he exclaimed, “OMG, I LOVE these! I love Mommy when she gives me new food!” when peeking inside. Is that all I’m good for… food? Hahaha!

So imagine his excitement when we received a package from CVS Pharmacy with their latest offering of healthy snacks! In our package was an assortment of non-perishables that hit the CVS shelves from some of our favorite brands like, Annie’s Homegrown, Krave Jerky, Rhythm Superfoods, KIND as well as new products from the CVS Pharmacy exclusive line, Gold Emblem abound™ . These snacks are among 250 fresh, refrigerated and non-perishable healthy foods and beverages that were added this spring.

Growing up, I remember going to the local pharmacy and getting lost in all of the wonderful snacks that we now consider to be unhealthy. We’re now in a time where we are more aware and more people are adopting more health-conscious lifestyles. It’s great to see CVS, a store dedicated to keeping us all healthy, offering healthier foods, making healthy snacking more convenient. It only makes sense, right?

Healthy snacking doesn’t mean we have to sacrifice flavor. Us adults are able to adapt to things such as taste differences, but kiddos can spot contrasts and become finicky fast. CVS carries healthy snacks that little ones will want to eat. We are huge fans of Annie’s and include them in lunches and class treats whenever possible. A new favorite of Jayden’s are the KIND breakfast bars for snack time and the CVS Gold Emblem abound™ fruit snack bars for lunch. Each fruit bar contains two whole servings of fruit. All Gold Emblem snacks are free of artificial preservatives, flavors and colors.

Sending your children back to school means packing a lunch every day, but filling it with healthy foods that they’ll actually eat can be a challenge. Why not send snacks your kids will love, that are better for their growing bodies?

What kinds of healthy foods are you packing in your kids’ lunches?

It seems that nutrition provided is more complete by having snacks from CVS. I usually pack for them some kind of dried vegetable such as sweet potato or some fruit muffins. I'll check the new brands from your post by now.

Our son snacks round-the-clock. After school, after Cub Scouts and even after dinner. Thanks for these ideas since we shop at CVS weekly.
