Happy December and welcome to the Mom’s Guide to All Things Holiday 2015 blogger collab. I’m excited to be collaborating with 14 other blogging mamas to bring you great ideas to add some extra sparkle and fun to your 2015 holiday season. Today, I want to share a simple and inexpensive, festive gift idea that will be sure to light up the faces of your holiday guests! These Candy Sleighs are perfect for any holiday party! If you’re going for the cool mom of the year award, you may want to whip these up for the classroom. Just sayin’. 😀

Materials

Candy canes
Kit Kat bars
Reese’s Big Cups
Andes Chocolate Mints
Toblerone Minis
Thin Christmas ribbon
Christmas bows
Hot glue gun

Instructions

Attach two candy canes to the bottom of a Kit Kat bar using hot glue. If your glue gun has a temperature setting, you may want to set it to low to make sure the glue doesn’t melt through the candy wrappers.

Arrange the rest of the candies on top of the Kit Kat bar to your liking and secure them with glue.

Next, wrap ribbon around the candy sleigh. Secure ribbon on the bottom of the sleigh with glue as well as the point where the ribbon crosses at the top of the sleigh.

Finally, glue a pretty bow on top! On Dasher, on Prancer, and Vixen!

I grabbed all of my supplies for this craft at my local Meijer store. Candy canes were two for $5. The bagged Christmas candies were on sale too, but I opted for the non-seasonal bags for a few cents less. Afterall, the candy canes, ribbons, and bows were festive enough!

This was such a cute gift idea. I might have to make something like this for my teacher friends
