It might mean you want to build a shed in the garden where you can work, or even a summer house of some kind. In any case, try to make the space as free of distractions as possible.
Clean & Tidy
You need to keep your home working space clean and tidy, because that is a vital part of being able to concentrate and do your work as you would hope to. If your space is not clean and tidy, you might find that the cluttered nature of it stops you being able to work, and over time this can make a profound difference. You might not have enough space in the home to have an incredibly spacious home working space, but you should at least be able to have enough space to store all of your work-related items and move about freely as you work. If you are clever about how you approach this, you should find that you don’t need a huge amount of space and that you can achieve what you do need simply by ensuring that you are working with your space in a sensible way.
