Congrats to the following winners: @Southtexasstyle, AdventuresInBabywearing, Lauren (faupula), Mindi (mae), armyguardmom, Mo L., Macey (momsessential), Jennifer (madeli) and Joette L!
I’m doing some last minute shopping for BlogHer and I’m hitting up Old Navy for some cute pieces. It’s definitely going to be hot outside and possibly chilly at the hotels, so I need some basics to layer. I don’t like sweating and when I do, I get self conscious. I chill easily and can’t stand cold arms. Sometimes I shake, sometimes I twitch, sometimes I get grumpy. I don’t want to scare anyone, so I need to layer. I’m looking at dresses, skirts, cardigans, and capris. I love this look below.
And although I probably won’t be wearing polos to BlogHer, I may grab a few, they’re on sale in stores for $8 through July 29th!
You can check out these polos under the “Weekly Ad” tab on Old Navy’s Facebook page. While you’re there, check out Barker’s Bones where you can dig around for unlimited coupons. This week’s highest-value unlimited coupon is $10 off $50, but I bet I have something a little more enticing…
I’ve been hooked up with 10 $50 off $100 Old Navy coupons, I’m choosing to keep one for myself and to give away 9. For a chance to win 1 of 9 $50 off $100 Old Navy coupons answer the following question in the comments: The collars on the women’s fashion polos reveal colorful designs when popped. Are you awesome enough to pop your collar, or are you keepin’ it down low (for lack of better words)? Nine winners from the U.S. and Canada will be chosen July 24th, 2010 at 7PM CST. The coupons are good through July 29th, so winners must reply ASAP! You may want to take a look at my basic giveaway rules. Good luck!

I think I would prefer to keep it on the down low.
View CommentThanks
I think I will leave it in the down low. These shirts are bold enough without a statement of poping the collar. Love the good deal though and the pink one looks to match my favorite nail pollish:)
View CommentWhen I was younger I did not pop the collar. And I do not think I could pull off the "popped" collar now. So I guess if I were to wear one now it would have to be kept own low.
View CommentI would wear it down low!
View CommentI keep my collar down.
View CommentI say pop it up! Thanks for the contest
View CommentI used to pop my collar, but if I tried that now, my kids would make fun of me!! Thanks.
View CommentI would love to say I am totally RAD enough to pop the collar, but I'm kinda a nerd so I would look like a total geek trying to be cool…. Thats a no for me. 🙂
View CommentSoooo not popping the collar! 1986 high school graduate and I could carry the look off then, not so much 24 years later! But love the shirts
Eileen

View CommentLow collar of course. Pop is weird for someone my age. I was in my 20s in the 1980s. I want back from those years is being in a size zero again!
View CommentI only pop when it's cool out, in this summer heat we hang low!
View CommentI'm gonna have fun and pop it!

View CommentI always pop my collar. The different color/design was put under there to be seen. 🙂
View CommentI keep my collars down low. It's way too hot in the Northeast to have anything around your neck. (Though I keep them down in the winter too!)
View CommentGwendolyn
I'd keep it down low, lol. Popped collars remind me of vampires, haha.
View CommentOh, I love that set of clothes for blogher that you picked out, it's so very pretty, feminine and professional and flirty and just lovely.
I lay my collars down, because if I don't, one of the children will, and if they do, it might lay funny.
Thank you for the generous giveaway!
View Commentmy hubby tries to pull off the popped collar. i tell him he is too old. on the other hand, i KNOW i am too old, therefore, no, i do not pop my collar, ever….because i am positive i would get laughed at.
View CommentI'm not afraid to pop my collar (again), I love the contrasting colors.
View CommentI would do the half popped collar. (Must be because I am only half awesome!) My half pop is just a full pop in the back, then transition to no pop in the front. The colors collide better that way! Love the color "treat"ment on these polos! (does this answer qualify? if not, just count me as yes! I would pop the collar on this polo!!)
View CommentThanks, Sheena, for the great advice on layering and thanks to you and Old Navy for the great giveaway!
This mommy is keeping it down low. LOL. Not cool enough to pop the collar
View CommentI'm with Sheliza – I can't carry off that popped collar gracefully at my age ( some actually can), just a different kind of awesome! Great giveaway!

View CommentI can't stand the look of popped collars. I keep them down.
View CommentAre you awesome enough to pop your collar, or are you keepin’ it down low (for lack of better words)?
I like to see it down low.
View CommentI would not pop. It would remind me of the idiot guys I graduated high school with who layered 3 different polo shirts and chewed gum like a cow. Blah. Cute polos though!

View CommentI think I'd look pretty silly with my collar popped so I'll have to say "No".
View CommentI think I would have to keep it low. I don't have enough nerve to pop it. Even though I've seen others do it and it looks great on them.
View CommentI don't know if I can pull off a popped collar. I would probably keep it low 🙂

View CommentThank you 🙂
My collar is normally down but I wouldn't be afraid to "Pop It" !
View CommentI think the popped collar look has gotten so old. It was popular about five years ago, and even then it made people who wore them that way look ridiculous! I can't stand it. I definitely keep it "down low."
View CommentI would have to wear them down.
View CommentI have to keep it down low…no one pops it up hwere i live unless your in high school lol

View CommentI will have to keep it down low – popped just looks silly to me 🙂 BUT to each his(her) own!
View CommentDonna
I opt to keep my collar down. I like the more classic line of a polo shirt.
View CommentNope, don't think I could pull off the popped collar. And reading the comments above, I didn't realize this is a revisited trend! LOL! But i still like the contrasting colors.
View CommentI'd keep the collar low. As others said, it does remind me of the 80s and anyway…it's like a little hidden style surprise that only you know about.
View CommentDefinitely not popping:p
View CommentI keep it down low…I like it the original way!!!
View CommentI am an 80"s child…I was so in to the trend then but now I go with comfort and practical…so my practical side says that down is the way to go!
View CommentDefinitely "down low!"
View CommentSince I live in the heat and humidity of the south, I would definitely keep it down low. It would feel suffocating to pop a collar in the summertime here 🙂
View CommentIm thinking it will depend on my mood too, although I love color, it isn't appropriate to just go poppin collars everywhere! You gott abe careful with all that FLAIR!
View CommentLove it!
LOL
I will pop my collar up and swagger a bit when I walk too
View CommentI popped my collar in High School in 1985. Not sure I would do it again. It's just not the same when you are 43
View CommentI'd pop a top (collar). Never afraid to try something new, again.
View CommentI gotta keep mine down low…sorry. I don't feel like I'm young enough for the popped collar
View CommentKeeping it low 🙂
View CommentI would keep it traditional…but love to see others wear it that way!
View CommentI keep em down low … it's too hot to have something up around your neck 🙂
View CommentIt will probably depend on my mood. I love the different colors on the other side of the collar so if I'm feeling "sassy", then I will "pop it!" lol
View CommentGirl I am still awesome although I will not wear a popped collar! I'm to aged for that! 🙂
View CommentI keep mine down low! I loved 80's fashion lol! 🙂
View CommentI like to pop it to show off the pretty contrasting colors.
Thanks for the giveaway 🙂
View CommentBeen there, done that. I refuse to revisit the 80's. Fashion was horrible then…it's horrible now. LOL Thanks for the chance!!
View CommentI keep my collars down low. Otherwise they just feel like they get in my way, especially on hot days!
View CommentI'd pop. It seems so many of the 80's trends are back in some form or another.
