It feels like there is finally a bit of light at the end of the tunnel and that means that hopefully we will soon be able to go traveling again. If you are desperate for that day when you can throw your suitcase in the car and head off somewhere wonderful, then why not begin your planning now? There are so many types of travel that you can embark on and they are all sure to be great. Here are some top travel ideas for every type of traveler.

  • A theme park holiday

If you are an adrenaline junkie then why not tailor your vacation around theme parks? There are so many that you can visit, from seaworld San Antonio to Universal studios in Orlando. Most of the theme parks have hotels which are on site that you can stay at. These also come with added perks such as early access to the parks or a discount of park tickets. Do your research before you go to find the best one for you.

  • A camping road trip

If you want to get back to one with nature, then why not consider a camping road trip? You just need to pack a tent and camping supplies then can pitch up wherever you fancy (within reason!) There are a whole host of campsites you can choose from and you could even stay at a few different ones during your trip if you want to explore new areas.

  • A spa break

After the year that we have had, a spa break is definitely well deserved. There are a plethora of dedicated spa hotels all around that you can choose from. They can be pricey but this can include treatments and food too so make sure you look at what is included in the total price. You can also get them for cheaper if you go out of season. Why not take some of your friends along with you? It will be a great chance to relax and reconnect.

  • A beach holiday

If you are looking to get away and head for some fresh sea air then why not go on a beach break away? You can rent a house or AirBnb right on the beach where you can spend your days surfing, sunbathing on the sand or playing sports such as beach volleyball. You can have BBQs in the evening, playing board games and just enjoying spending time with your friends or loved ones.

  •  A city break

If city breaks are more your thing, there are so many great cities that you can spend your vacation exploring. Discover top foodie hotspots, visit museums and you could even see a theatre show. Be sure to write up an itinerary beforehand as there is likely to be many things you want to see and do in a short amount of time.

These are just a few travel ideas that guarantee everyone will find something that they like. As we haven’t been able to travel for a while it is important to find something that ticks all your boxes. Where will be the first place you go once we are allowed? Let me know in the comments below I would love to know!
