There are plenty of factors that contribute towards us being at our best, but perhaps the one that has the most impact — yet is frustratingly difficult to pin down — is confidence. When we have it, we typically find that we’re happier, more likely to take chances and push ourselves, and can all-around handle all the demands and surprises that life throws at us. Find Your Weak Spots

It’s unlikely that you’re a total mess, devoid of any confidence whatsoever. As with all people, it’ll be something of a mixed bag — there’ll be areas of your life where you feel supremely confident, and areas of your life where you don’t know what you’re doing. In order to improve things, it’s recommended that you conduct a little bit of self-analysis, and figure which aspects of your life are bringing you down. It might be that changing one or two things is all it takes to up your confidence levels.

Improve Your Look

Looks, of course, are not everything — but they are something. If you’ve been feeling low in confidence, then one of the best ways to improve things could be to look at making some changes to improve your appearance. There are a million ways to do this. Sometimes, it can feel like we’re on top of the world…but then, someone says or does something, and, before we know it, our confidence has plummeted. If you’re going to keep your confidence levels at healthy levels, then it’s worthwhile developing a thicker skin. You can’t let your self-image be dictated by the thoughts and words of others! A smart way to do this is to avoid taking things personally. People will say things, sure, but they’re forming their opinion with limited knowledge. You have the whole picture. It’s not how others see you that matters, but how you see yourself.
